Amacalola Falls State Park

The last weekend of May, Cheryl and I went for a little hiking at Amacalola Falls State Park.  Neither of us had been there before.  The trails weren't nearly as long as we had hoped, but it was just as well b/c poor Cheryl got a huge blister from some relatively new shoes.  :-(  Nevertheless, we both had fun, it was a beautiful day and the falls were really cool.  It's actually sort of odd because the river is more like a tiny creek at the top, and at the bottom, and it's hard to imagine how the falls look so spectacular with such a small volume of water flowing over them.
