This is Damon. These are his pictures. |
The London "Eye". This is NOT a Ferris Wheel.
It takes nearly an hour to go around once,
and the cars are huge.
A cool picture of a kid on a bike. |
A closer view of the cars.
Another angle.
And another angle.
Before boarding, an even closer view.
A very cool view.
Inside a car.
See what I mean about the size?
Now imagine how big the wheel must be! |
View from the "eye".
Big Ben from the "eye".
What is that rocket-shaped building?
Don't look down!
There must have been a Salvador Dali exhibit nearby.
Big Ben at a distance,
overlooking the
Thames River.
Big Ben.
I guess Damon disagreed with the sign.
Something. ???
Hey, remember, I am not
the one that took these pictures.
Big Ben close up.
Big Ben w/ the "eye" in the background.
I have no idea. Part of the House of Parliament? Part of
Westminster Cathedral?
Westminster Cathedral?
???
???
A demonstration against
England's involvement in
the war in Iraq (I presume). |
Tower Bridge. |
Tower Bridge again.

Whatever it (left) said.
A street.
Interesting taxi.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory exhibit.
I think that was the weekend that the movie
opened...or maybe shortly after it opened.
More of the exhibit.
Yeah, beer causes gas, but I've never had
anyone want to collect mine!
Okay, okay. The beer there (bitters, e.g. Guinness)
isn't carbonated. It gets carbonated as it is drawn. |
I guess that's why they call it
"the tube"
? |
