Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
with
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

Cheryl and I lucked into hearing about Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (swing) playing with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, kicking off the 4th of July weekend.  They played at our favorite, and nicely small (relatively, anyway) outdoor theatre, Chastain Park Amphitheatre.  I'd seen BBVD before, back in 1999, and I thought they were awesome.  Of course, I was really into swing back then, but seeing them again, they were just as great.  They're a really fun band to watch, and their songs are great...and add in the ASO backing them up, and the sound was awesome.  Cheryl agreed, that was a really fun concert.
